The problem, and how we solved it
The challenge
- Branches share files and systems
- When the main line drops, inter-branch work stops
- Data without backups is at risk
What we built
We look after the branch network and backups on an ongoing basis.
- Site-to-site VPN on MikroTik linking every branch
- Load balancing across two ISPs so one line can fail without stopping work
- Scheduled cross-site NAS backups with sync issues fixed as they occur
- Continuous log review plus a proposed 5G backup line to cut monthly costs
What the system does
- Site-to-site VPNSecure links between branches
- Dual-ISP load balancingMore stability, less downtime
- Cross-site backupScheduled backups on NAS
- Ongoing log reviewCatch issues before they hit operations
- 5G backup lineLower costs and a fallback path
